Bring it on 2011.. we are ready
What a start to the year .. almost 70% of our Guests were off enjoying the highlife party @ Stoneridge and many a story has come back. Every single one of them said how fantastic it was and was great to see how many still were up to enjoy the day when it was so sunny out. My favourites from a distance was the air show .. something for everyone and the light show later but from what we were told it all rocked.
If the rest of the summer is like the last 3 days then its going to be HOT , HOT , HOT and you’ll need plenty of liquid to cool off whether its down to Onetangi beach to swim,lounge around snorkel or jump on the new jump on jump off bus to visit many of our local wineries like Casto Miro or Obsidian, passage rock , cable bay and for those of us who might like a drop of beer on a hot day go see Wild on Waiheke …
For us its just great to be able to share the excitement, the next big event is the Wharf to Wharfon the 15th of January good luck to those enrolled another year for me perhaps. Luke however is preparing for the run through Miro and other local wineries to raise funds for charity.
Lets just say though you don’t need to be a runner to enjoy this fair island its at its best at the moment and if you just have arrived about to arrive or depart its one of the best ways to chill out and relax. Jump on a ferry and come and see us – be warned though our weekends are filling up quick so try for mid week.
